Ready to join US Foods® as a Class A Driver? Earn between $30.31 and $33.68 per hour plus overtime, with early morning start times (1am-6am) and Monday-Saturday availability. What You'll Do
- Deliver best-in-class Customer Service as one of the important faces of US Foods®
- Deliver meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customers' drop-off sites
- Deliver customers' orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity
- Unload products with a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas
- Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
- Make frequent stops during work shifts
- Deliver product in inclement weather conditions
- Verify delivery of items with customers and collect money (cash or checks) where needed
- Make multi-yard trips to get routes started across various yards located in Oregon (commute/travel times may vary)
Requirements
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age
- CDL License: Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Driver's License: Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
- Driving Record: No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
- Experience: Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass DOT physical
- Schedule Flexibility: Early morning start times (1am-6am), Monday-Saturday availability, average work week is 4 or 5 days, schedules may include weekends
- FMCSA Clearinghouse: Must register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse database (required by the Department of Transportation)
