Warehouse Worker-Packer 2nd shift $1,500 Retention Bonus After 120 Days

Warehouse Associate (Repack), 2nd Shift

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse associates to join an excellent team. Earn $18.68 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, working Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with a $1,500 retention bonus after 120 days.

The repack position involves removing parts from large bins and placing them into smaller bins. You will stand and walk within a work area, with regular bending and lifting of items under 50 pounds.

Schedule and Pay

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Pay Rate: $18.68 per hour
Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour

What You'll Do

Accurately match numbers and letters
Accurately stage and sort products
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
Move materials within the warehouse
Comply with all safety requirements
Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Perform quality control
Identify and remove damaged products when received
Complete daily logs
Communicate with associates from other shifts
Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information
Read work orders or receive verbal instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
Record numbers of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets
Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers
Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Use a computer to enter records
Maintain inventory records
Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

No prior warehouse experience required, but preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, strong number skills, and time management required
Flexibility to work overtime preferred
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location required
Must complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
